Welcome to the Home of the Eastern Junior Vikings

EJV making 2017 it’s best season in history

Sending 3 teams to SJI championship games, 2 teams winning league championships, sending 2 teams to Chesapeake regional championship games, and have 1 team win the region advancing to Canton, OH for the chance to win a national championship.

What an amazing season and we want to thank you all for being apart of this special season.

Coach John Brecker completed his 20th season with us and his team was dynamic this season. Coming up just short in the league championship game, we want each and every member of the 85lb team this season to know just how proud of them every one is. We can’t wait to watching you guys continue to grow and there are a lot more exciting seasons to come for this group of kids. Thank you, Coach Brecker for your years of service. Thank you to your coaching staff for all of their time and dedication to the team.

The 100lb group completed an undefeated season in SJI league play with an dominate 20-0 win over Burlington Twp in the championship game. This team scored and will and completely shut down its opponents on defense. They continued their success in the first 2 rounds of the Chesapeake regional tournament with a 27-0 ( first half ) win over the Salem Rams and a 20-0 win over perennial power house, Paulsboro. They ran up against a team ranked #2 in the nation in the finals and came up short in that game but these boys played their hearts out and made us all very proud. The future for these players is limitless.

Our 115’s also dominated their way through the regular season and post season play in SJI. Out scoring teams 331-47 through out the year is amazing. In a 10 game season that is an average game score of 33 to 5. After a dominating win over Medford in this group went to the Chesapeake regional and some how played their best football of the season. The championship game will be talked about for years to come….. beating a team of VERY old middle school players in the finals… this group didn’t back down and earned the right to go to Canton, OH to play for a national championship next weekend. Please consider any donation you can to help send the boys to OH next weekend!
